CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 7-gaZ,
A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO ISSUE BONDS FOR THE PURPOSE
OF ACQUISITION AND BETTERMENT OF PUBLIC ROADS AND PROVIDING
FOR AN ELECTION THEREON
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Medina has carefully
considered the need for improved public roads within the City; and
WHEREAS, public information meetings have been held at which
the opinion of interested citizens have been heard; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has examined the various methods
available to it of financing the acquisition and betterment of public
roads; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has concluded that improved public roads
are a public necessity;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Medina, Minnesota, as follows:
1. It is hereby determined to issue general
obligation bonds for the purpose of providing
money for the acquisition and betterment of
public roads.
2. The amount proposed to be borrowed shall not
exceed $.57.5; evy1.00.
3. The proposal to issue such bonds shall be
submitted to the vote s of the city at a special
election to be held ,e7itvie , /�z y lazp. Polling
places and judges shall be the same as at the last
general election. The polls shall be opened at
7 p o'clock a.m. and shall close at "`oa o'clock
4. The City Clerk shall give notice of election as
required by law by two weeks' published notice in
the official newspaper and posting in three public
places in the city at least ten days prior to the
election.
5. The Clerk shall cause ballots to be printed in
substantially the following form:

Instructions to Voters: Voters desiring to vote in favor of the
following proposition shall put an (X) in the square before the
word "Yes." Voters desiring to vote against the proposition shall
put an (X) in the square before the word "No."

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a special city election of the
City of Medina, Minnesota, will be held onQi) mber/o;.- 19 /Si, at
which election there will be submitted to the voters of the City

Shall the City of Medina issue its general obligation bonds
