After reading Sarah Andrews application for a beer license, Widmaier moved, Galloway seconded: To grant Sarah.Andre ms a 3.2'o beer license for one year. Potion Carried. Installing street signs was again discussed and Lr. Galloway told how Platteville had installed their signs. The Mayor reported that the Progress club offered to arrange the numbering for the houses. The clerk read the minutes of the regular meeting of Fet3 which were approved as read. The monthly report of town receipts and disbursements ;were read/ Robert Anderson, Town Auiditor, was present and explained the yearly audit and how it compared to the estimated budget of 1952. In the discussion of street signs, it was deceided to get good heavy signs and use one sign at each corner. Galloway moved: Wood seconded: Under the present verbal agreement between the Tele. Co. and the Town of Ault, we herby authorize the Tele. Co. to make the necessary arrangements to prepare a 25 year franchise and ordinance for the same. i.otion carried. Galloway moved: Widmaier seconded: To install water meters at Joe Henderson's Coffee Cup and Jack Wykert's south house. Motion carried. After some discussion about a lawn sweeper for the park, it was de- ceided to get circulars on this machine before deceiding.
