RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A PLACE -TO - PLACE TRANSFER
OF ABC LICENSE #1201-44-039-002, RE: MELDA MAA
CORPORATION T/A STATE LIQUORS
WHEREAS, an application. has been filed for a place-to-place transfer of
Plenary Retail Distribution License #1201-44-039-002, for pnrposes of
expa"nding the premises under license wherein the sale and storage of alcoholic
beverages. are authorized; and .
'VHEREAS, according to law, the appJication for tn'lllsfer was advertised in
The Home News Tribune, a newspaper circulated in the Borough"of Carteret and
110 objections. either verbally or ill writing, were filed or made .to the Goveming
Body ?I to the Municipal Cle~k regarding said transfer; and
'VHEREAS,. the submitted appliCation form is complete in all respects, the
transfer fees have been" paid, and the license has been properly reviewed for.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVElJ that the Mayor and Council of the
Borougll ofCarteret hereby approves. effective April i3, 2007, the expansion of
the aforesaid Plenary Retail Distribution Licensed premises located at 76-78
Washington Avenue, Carteret, New Jersey, to place under license the area
delineated in the application form. and the sketch of the licensed premises
attached hereto; .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mnnicipal Clerk is hereby authorized
and directed !o execute the endorsement ofthis Place-to.-Place transfer; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that two (2) certified copies of this resolution
he sent forthwith to the State of New Jersey, Department of Law & Public
Safety, Division of Alcoholic Beverag~ Control, Licensing Bureau, CN 087,
Trenton, NewJersey .08625-0087.
