t 8:10 P.M. Mayor Kurtz called the meetin to order.
poll call showed the following members present: Burroughs.
Robinson, Widmaier and Yaood. Burman came in. later.
The clerk read the minutes of the regular meeting or April
were approved as read.
The receipts and Lisbursements of the town were read.
The clerk read the new ora inance. ► idmaier moved: Robinson
To pass the ordinance, grunting a 25 year franchise to the fountain
States Tele. � Tele. Go. and number the ordinance ; 113. Motion
carried.

The Highway Dept. wrote that they has asked the P.U.G. to have a hearing
on installing A. R. gates here at the crossing of hi •hway 14.
There was a bid of 4138.00 for painting the front of the town mall. It
was deceided to get other bids,,as this one seemed to high.
H.B. Smith resigned the outside work to take effect on fay 1st.
Widmaier moved: Robinson seconded: To raise ,;°ors. Smith's salaryto q50.00
per month. Lotion carried.
Burroughs moved: Burman seconded: That the salary of H. B. Smith be reau-
ced to x;75.00 per month. Lotion carried.

It was aggreeable with the board to give urourd six ft. of ground on
the west line of the libray lots if the property owners westo of the
library would agree to pay ail costs of survey and changing the abstracts.
