AUTHOIUZING CARA TO SOLICIT BID PROPOSALS FOR THE
DEMOLITION OF VARIOUS BUILDINGS
"\VREREAS, as part of the Borough of Carteret's ("Borough") ongoing redevelopment
and revitalization efforts, it is in need of securing the demolition of certain buildings,
and/or stmctures, along with site clearing, for various parcels of real property identified
on Schedule A, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a p31t hereof, in .furtherance
of said redevelopment ~d revitalization efforts; and
'VHEREAS, the Borough is desirous to have Carteret Redevelopment Agency
("eARA") solicit bid proposals for said demolition and site clearing work and to further
manage and oversee said contract work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
Carterct as follows:

1. That the Carteret Redevelopment Agency is hereby authorized and directed to
prepare bid specifications and solicit bid proposals for the demolition and site
clearing upon the parcels of real property set forth on the attached Schedule
A.
2. That Carteret Redevelopment Agency is hereby further authorized to utilize,
to the extent necessary, any redevelopment trust funds placed in the care and
control of the Agency for the advancement of the Agency's designated
redevelopment entity efforts in the administration of any approved contract(s)
for the above-described demolition and site clearing work.
3. That a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Carteret Redevelopment
Agency.
