AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
TO THE CARTERET REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
'VHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret has engaged in extenstive and ongoing
revitalization and redevelopment efforts within the Borough; and
\VHEREAS, as part of these efforts the Borough has acquired title to various parcels of
real property in furtherance of these efforts; and
,"VHEREAS, the Borough desires to transfer certain real propelty, identified on Schedule
A, attached hereto and made a part hereof, to the Carteret Redevelopment Agency as the
intended redevelopment entity for said parcels pursuant to the Local Redevelopment and
Housing Law (N.! .S.A. 40A: 12A-l !1 ~.), and related revitalization efforts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
Cmteret as follows:

1. That the transfer of the above-referenced parcels of real property set forth on
the attached Schedule A to the Carteret Redevelopment Agency is hereby
authorized in a form and in accordance with the method and process to be
approved by the Borough Attomey.
2. That the Carteret Redevelopment Agency is hereby authorized to retain said
properties, and any proceeds derived from the subsequent transfer/sale thereof
to a designated redeveloper, for authorized use in the advancement of the
Borough's approved redevelopment programs.
3. That appropriate Borough Officials and its professional consultants are hereby
authorized al1d directed to take all necessary and proper action(s), including,
but not limited to, the execution of any documents and other writings and
things, all in furtherance of implementing the provisions of this authorizing
Resolution and effectuating the transfer of the above- referenced real property
as provided for herein and with regard to any subsequent transfer/sale of the
same to a designated redeveloper for the same.
4. That a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to Carteret Redevelopment
Agency and the Borough Attorney.
