AUTHORIZING CARA TO ARRANGE FOR VARIOUS UTILITY AND
PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY IMPROVEMENTS
'VHEREAS, as part of the Borough of Carteret's ("Borough") ongoing redevelopment
and revitalization efforts, the Borough is in need of implementing various utility and
public right-of-way improvements in furtherance of said redevelopment revitalization
efforts; and
\VHEREAS, the Borough has previously designated the Carteret Redevelopment Agency
("eARA") as the redevelopment entity for the respective redevelopment projects
associated with the aforesaid improvements. .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
Carteret as follows:
I'.
1. That the CARA is hereby authorized and directed to participate in the contract
administration for the above- referenced utility and public right-of-way
improvement projects pursuant to its designation as the redevelopment entity
for the associated redevelopment projects.
2. That Carteret Redevelopment Agency is hereby further authorized to _utilize,
to the extent necessary, any redevelopment trust funds placed in the care and
control of the Agency for the advancement of the Agency's designated
redevelopment entity efforts in the administration of any approved contract(s)
for the above-described utility and public right-of-way improvement work,
including any associated relocation/installation charges.
3. That a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Carteret Redevelopment
Agency.

and certified as a true copy of the
original on April 13, 2007.
