Motion to approve the resolution proposed by staff approving the Town's entry into a
voluntary settlement agreement resolving the pending Compass Creek annexation
proceedings in substantially the form attached to the resolution and authorize the
Town Attorney and Town Manager to take all steps reasonably necessary to complete
the process of finalizing the agreement, presenting it to Commission on Local Council
Governments for its report and recommendations in obtaining the approval and order
of the special judicial panel to be appointed by the Supreme Court of Virginia.
