Members present were: Burman, Burroughs, Robinson, yidmaier, and Wood. Galloway was absent. Regular minutes of I\overaber 3, 1.53 were read and approved as read. Receipts and Disbursements for the month of 'overaber 1953 were read. The town received three safe water sarr le reports from the health Dept. widmaier moved: Burroughs seconded: That the proposed budget be adopted for the year 1954. Lotion Carried. Mr. Wood gave a report on what the committee, which had been appointed on the November meeting, had found out about trailer courts and some of the Ordinances and regulations other towns has set up. The Council discussed putting a 4" main (water) south of the corner of 1st Ave. and A St. and deceided to let each individual party outside of the city limits run there own water line to there property, from the main as is, as there was not enough hook-ups to keep the water in this main from becoming stagnate, and a fire hydrant would have had to been placed at the dead end of this stub main for this purpose. The Clerk asked the board to purchase two new front tires for the town pick-up. The Clerk was to cntact two or three business places and get a bid from, the owner, and purchase tires fromthe lowest bidder. The hiring of Blake Armstrong as utility man for the town was discussed. Marion Widmaier was appointed by the Mayor to talk to Blake Armstrong and see how much he would have to have by the month to take on the steady work. Christmas decorations was discussed and it was deceidedit was to near Christmas tire to purdhase new decorations this year. Motion Carried. 041,44 11, Clerk Mayor Regular Meeting January 5, 1954 Regular Meeting was called to order at 8:15 P.M. by Mayor Kurtz. Members present were: Burman, Burroughs, Galloway, Robinson, Widmaier, and Wood. Regular minutes of December 1, 1953 were read and approved as read. Receipts and Disbursements of the Town, for the month of December were read. The town received two safe water sample reports from the Health Dept. Paul Becthold was present to ask the board if they would like to have two maps made instead of one. The first map would have all water mains, sewer mains, and gas mains, and the second map would be for the streets and there names, and city lots. The cost of these two maps would be approximately $200.00. Burroughs moved: Widmaier seconded: To authorize Paul Betchold to survey and draw up two maps of the Town of Ault, to be purchased by the town when completed. Motion Carried. The town received a letter from the Department of Highways, stating that after January 1, 1954, highway 85 and Highway 14 would no longer be maintained by the county, but the State would have all maintaince of these two roads, also through the City Limits of the Town of .Ault. Galloway gave a report on the setting up of Trailer Camps, there facalities and requirements. Galloway moved: Burroughs seconded: To draw up an Ordinance regulating TrailerCamps, providing for a license of X25.00 per year for trailer
