DIRECTING THE ISSUANCE OF A RAFFLE LICENSE TO THE
BPOE CARTERET ELKS #2235
'VHEREAS, application has been properly made to tl1e Mayor and Council of
the Borough of the BPOE Carteret Elks #2235; and
"'HEREAS, it appears that the applicants are qualified to be licensed and the
members designated to conduct RAFFLES and to assist are bona fide members
o~the applicant; and
WHEREAS, the applicants have signified that the games will be played in
ac<;:ordance with Rules 6, 7 and 8 of the Legalized Games of Chance Control
Commission's Regulations; and 1
'NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the
. Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret, that the Municipal Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to execute the endorsement of the Mayor and Council-by
issuing proper presyutatioll of application and fees, a RAFFLE LICENsE to the
applicants;
BE ~T FURTHE!R RESOLVED that a certified copy of this Resolution b,e sent
forthwith to the Legalized Games of Chance' Control 'Conuuission, P.O. Box
46000, Newark, New Jersey 07101. .
