Members of the Ault Sanitation District asked the Town Council for permission to build a pump house over the lift station. Galloway moved: Wood seconded: To grant the Ault Sanitation District permission to build a pump house over the lift station in the south east part of the town, at the south end of 3rd Ave. This building would extend out into the street approximately tweleve feet, and is to be properly Idenfied. Motion Carried. Galloway moved: Burman seconded: To discontinue the Police futies of Dude Rice as of January3, 1954. Seconded on motion withdrawn and Police Oomm.ittee was to talk to Dude and tell him, he would no longer be need- ed after January 31, 1954 until a later date. A Q _.c.:.o.�r-- Clerk / �I , Mayor � Regular Meeting February 2, 1954 Regular meeting was called to order at 8;15 P.M. by Mayor uurtz. Members present were: Burman, Burroughs, Galloway, Robinidson, Widmaier, an_ d Wood. Minutes of Regular meeting of January 5, 1954, were read and approved as read. Receipts and Disbursements for the month of February, 1954 were read. The Town received two safe water sample reports from the health Dept. Sarah Andrews, and Eugene Dorsey sent in applications for a 3.2% Beer License. Burroughs moved: Wiamaier seconded: To grant Sarah Andrews and Eugene Dorsey, each, a 3.2c0 beer license for one year. Motion Carried. Wood moved; Galloway seconded: To call a Town Election on April 6, 1954 to elect One Mayor and Six Trustees, for the term of two years. Motion Carried. Burroughs moved: Widmaier seconded: To appoint, Mrs. Riedel, Mrs. Fullmer and Mrs. Coffman, as election Judges, and Mrs. Floyd Preston, as an alternate Judge, respectfully. Motion Carried. The Proposed Ordinance, on the Regulation of the, setting up of Trailer Camps was read, by Doug Galloway. Galloway moved: Burman seconded: To adopt proposed Ordinance on Regulat- ion and setting up of a Trailer Court, and to have the Ordinance publish- ed, and numbered as Town Ordinance # 115. Motion Garr'ied. Police Committee was to talk to Sherman woods, pertaining to certain duties, and report to Town Board Jr' March meeting. There was some discussion on the hiring of Blake Armstrong as a steady employee of the Town. No definite descision was reached, until Marion Widmaier could contact Blake Armstrong again, on a set monthly salary. The clerk _asked for permission to place a few of the ureters (water) that are put into the ground in pits. These pits are constructed of 20" Tile and a double steel lid, placed on them at ground level. The approximate cost of one pit would be around 415.00. ( Continued )
