DESIGNATING CHICK'S HOLIDAY TIME, INC. AS THE REDEVELOPER
FOR 211-215 ROOSEVELT AVENUE AND 1 W ASHlNGTON AVENUE
"'HEREAS, the tvlayor and Council are desirous of designating Chick's Holiday Time,
Inc. as the redeveloper to initiate and complete the redevelopment of 211 and 215
Roosevelt Avenue and 1 Washington Avenue and designating the Carteret
Redevelopment Agency as the ultimate redevelopment entity to oversee the
redevelopment of said parcels. subject to the negotiation and execution of a fannal
redevelopment agreement for the same between appropriate parties.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED by the Mayor and Council of lhe Borough
of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey as follows:
1. That Chick's Holiday Time, Inc., or its affiliated entity, is hereby designated
as the redeveloper for 211-215 Roosevelt Avenue and 1 Washington Avenue,
subject to the negotiation and execution of a fOffilal redevelopment agreement
for the same between the appropriate parties.
2. That a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Carteret Redevelopment
Agency, Chick's Holiday Time, Inc. and the Borough Attomey.
Adopted this 26th day of April, 2007
and certified as a true copy of the
original on April 27, 2007.

Dear Mayor,
I would like to purchase the properties located at 211-215 Roosevelt Avenue and
1 Washington Avenue. Chick's will fund the closing without debt. See the attach letters,
supporting my financial capabilities to fund and complete this project. Chick's has been
incorporated since 1980 and I am the sole shareholder. Chick's has and still owns
property in Linden, New Jersey. We have also done projects in Staten Island, New York,
and just last year a renovation in Mountainside, New Jersey. .
We will be using Wenson Associates, Rahway New Jersey to handle the project.
