Regular Meeting August 3, 1954
Regular meeting was brought to order at 7:45 P.M. by Mayor '4idmaier,
Members present were, Clary, Coon, Mason, Schulz and ' ykert. Burman was absent,.
Minutes of regular meeting of July 6, 1954 were read and approved as read.
Receipts of the Town of Ault, for the month of July 1954 were read by the Clem.
eld County Health Dent. sent up two safe water sample reports for the month of
July.
T r, 3ob Rodgers from John's Office Equipment was present to talk to the Town
Board about the purchasing of a new Tyne writer and adding machine.
Coon moved: Wykert seconded To purchase new type -writer from John's Office
Fquinment at price 'quotated, of `>87.50 and allowing a trade in value of the old
machine of X12,00. Motion Carried.
Dusting of the Town was discussed and left up to the Street and Alley Committee
to act on the matter when needed. Also a piece was to be nut into The Ault Prog-
ress to have alltrash and garbage cleaned up as soon as possible so as dusting
of the alleys would take better affect.
There was much discussion on the selling or 'purchsing of cemetery lots, ner-
taini.ng to the un-keep of the Cemetery. Wykert and Schulz were to meet with the
Cemetery Association and discuss this matter with th .m.
Clary moved: Schulz seconded: To rurchase back all Cemetery lots, in the future
that want to be sold back to the Town at 5.00 per lot. Motion Carried.
The Clerk was to contact the Town Attorney on a written resin? utLon or notice
to be sent to Mr. George Gorai on east side of Town, asking him to please clean
un the lots he is living on, or according to Town Ordinance # 54, of the Town
of Ault, a fifty dollar (50.00) fine may be exsecuted.
The Clerk read aletter from Rodger Houtchens pertaining to an Ordinance on conve-
yance of land at the back end of the Town Library to Mrs. Alma L. Mason.
Schulz moved: Clary seconded: To mass Ordinance authorizing conveyance of real
property held by the Town of Ault, for other than nark or governmental pur-
poses, to Mrs. Alma L. '.Mason, and a 25.00 fee to cover publication of Ordinance
and recording of Quit Clair, Deed. Motion Carried.
