RESOLUTION NO. 06- 4398
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY UPHOLDING THE DECISION OF THE PLANNING
COMMISSION AND DENYING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 05 -1636
TO ALLOW THE INSTALLATION OF GAS AND PLUMBING
HOOKUPS, INCLUDING A SINK, AND SHOWER, IN A DETACHED
ACCESSORY STRUCTURE AT 6349 TRELAWNEY AVENUE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE:
SECT iON _ . Based upon information contained in the Staff Report to
the City Council.and information contained in the Planning Commission Staff
Report as well a' the Planning Commission minutes; and based upon
testimony received at a noticed pubic hearing before the Planning
Commission o;i :December 13, 2005 and testimony received at a noticed
public hearing-before the City Council on February 7, 2006, the City Council
denies the :Conditional Use Permit based upon the findings contained in
Planning Commission Resolution No. 05- 2156PC.
SECTION 2. Accordingly, Conditional Use Permit 05 -1636 is hereby
denied. However, the City Council authorized the re- installation of
washer and dryer hook -ups and authorized the issuance of permits for the
structural add -on, provided the building is restored as an accessory use,
not for human habitation and further, provided that all un- permitted
interior dividing walls, drywall, plumbing, electrical, venting, etc. are
removed.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to passage and adoption of
this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED ON THIS 7th DAY OF February 2006.
