Moody, for a 1955 Liquor License. Members present were: co on, oon, Schulz and Wykert. Burman and Mason were - absent. Wykert moved: Schulz seconded: To grant Mr. Frank D. Moody, a liquor license for the year 1955. Motion Carried. The Clerk asked the Town Board for permission to replace the old water lines at the Town Library, due to a water leak, and to bring them up through the floor instead of replacing them under the building, and having to tunnel under the build- ing, or tear the floor un each time, there was a repair made. Permission granted. Schulz moved: Clary seconded: To adjorn subject to the call of the Mayor. Motion Carried. Clerk ��y�,e,e) Mayor Regular Meeting December 7, 1954. Regular Meeting was called to order at 7:35 D.M.' by Mayor Widmaier. Members present were: Burman, Clary, Coon, Mason, Schulz and Wykert. Minutes of the regular meeting of November 2, 1954 and S'necial Meeting of Nov- ember 15, 1954 were read and annroved as read. Receints and Disbursements of the Town, for the month of November 1954 were read by the Clerk. Two safe water sample reports were sent to the Town from the Weld County Health Department for the month of November. The Street and Alley Committee gave report as follows There are about 48 Street lights in the Town of Ault, at the present time, based on a flat rate of $117.20 per month. The Home light and power Co. was contacted and reported that they would nut in as many additional Street Lights as needed or wanted, but would have to increase the rate's accordingly. A new and better light which is a mercury vapor light, could be installed at a lower cost per year, according to the light put out by our present old tyne street lights. There was much discussion on the Fire District for this Community and how to have it discontinued.'rkert moved: Coon seconded: To have the FireDeoartment discontinue the organizing of a Fire Protection District. Motion Carried. There was much discussion on the Library and wether to continue using it as a public Library as in the past, or to try to discontinue it and use it for some other sort of activity. Mrs. feidel was to contact different organizations and get there opionions as what they thought it could be used for, as there does not seem to be much need for a Public library. There was some discussion on the Civil Defense organization, and how to handle the financing of the Civil Defense program. It was deceided that the Civil Def- ense District Director, Jack Schlicker, was to turn in a bill covering Civil Defense expenses throughout the month, in which half would be paid by the Town of Ault and the other half of he bill would be turned over to School District 34, as both the Rural and Urban Districts are combined as one.
