A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD., A PUBLIC BODY APPROVING A
HOME CONTRACT AND ADMINISTRATION AGREEMENT. BETWEEN -THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AND ACCESS COMMUNITY HOUSING, INC. A NON-PROFIT
ORGANIZATION PURSUANT TO TITLE 24 CFR, PART 92, TO {.CARRY OUT
CERTAIN HOUSING RELATED ACTIVITIES .PURSUANT TO HOUSING AND
' URBAN- DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS AND TO COMMIT THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD~ 1996 AND 1997 HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP CHDO-SET-ASIDE
FUNDS.

'WHEREAS, The City of Lynwood has received aHOME/CHDO Set-Aside allocation of
$85.200 for Fiscal Year 1996 and aHOME/CHDO Set-Aside allocation of 83,400 for Fiscal
'Year .1997 from. the Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development to carry out certain
eligible activities in accordance with federal program requirements at 24 CFR 92; and

WHEREAS. The above mentioned grant amounts have been set aside by: the City acid
made ,available to Community Housing Development Organizations (CHDO's), in accordance
with HUD guidelines ;and
.WHEREAS: The City proposes to enter into a HOME. Contract- acid Administration -
~greement with Access Community Housing, Inc: for the' remaining 1996 allocation and a
ponion of the 1997 allocation to fulfill the .CHDO designation requirement thereby producing.
affordable housiris units :and
WHEREAS. The Citv proposes to commit the 1996 and 1997 allocation of HOME
Investment Partnership CHDO Set-Aside Moines to Access Community Housing, Inc. pursuant
to the HOME'Contract and Administration Agreement within the HUD'HOME guidelines ;and
NOVA', THEREFORE the Cit}~ Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby resolve as follows

Section l . That the City Council. approves the agreement with Access Community Housing, Inc.
' and commits $48.850. of the 1996 HOME Investment Partnership CHDO Set-Aside allocation-
and $5,214 of the 1997 HOME Investment Partnership CHDO Set-Aside allocation to. be used'
for the development of affordable units. ,
ection 2 . This Resolution shall go into effect irnmediately.upon its adoption.
