A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
:CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING THE GRAFFITI
ABATEMENT AT VARIOUS PARKS PROJECT,
. _ PROJECT 5-5178 AS COMPLETE ~ -

-` ~ ~ WHEREAS the Graff' ~ f °- ~ ,
~ . iti Abatement at Vanous Parks Project, Project 5 5178,. is funded by
a grant in the amount of $235,071 from the Los Angeles County Regional' Park-and
Open Space District (the District); and'
WHEREAS', said grant was for the deterrence of graffiti at various City parks
'through the use of painting and planting of trees and shrubs; and ~'
` WHEREAS, the` project was completed'on September 21, 1998; and
WHEREAS', the District's personnel and staff performed the finale inspection on
September 22, 1998, and. found that all work was completed satisfactorily.
NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CYNWOOD
AS FOLLOWS: ! `
Section 1. ~ The City Council accepts the Graffiti Abatement at Various Parks
Project, Project 5-5-178 as complete. .
`Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
