A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY DF LYNWOOD APPROVING THE
.PURCHASE OF FIRE DEPARTMENT EQUIPMENT
AND AUTHORIZING. PURCHASES THROUGH INFORMAL -
BIDDING. ~- "

WHEREAS, Some Fire Department Equipment, has exceeded its
., -recommended life; and
WHEREAS, The safety and reliability of said equipment is vital on
any emergency scene, and' '
" ~ WHEREAS, Replacement of said fire department equipment-will
help to ensure the safety'of fire personnel and our citizens ,
` WHEREAS., Urider Section. 6-3,13 of the Lynwood Municipal
Code; Council can authorize purchases through informal. Bids by a 4/5 .vote.
NOW. THEREFORE,, THE CITY COUNCIL OF LYNWOOD
. DOES. HEREBY FLND, PROCLAIM; ORDER AN'D RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That staff is authorized to purchase. new Fire
Department Equipment, fire ..hose, classt "A" foam system, hot sticks, smoke ejector,
hand" tools, and goggles. '
. ~ Section 2. That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to

Section 3. ,That this. resolution shall take effect immediately upon
