Regular Meeting
Minutes
February 20, 2013 4:30 P.M. Greencastle City Hall
I. Call to Order; Roll Call
A. Mayor Murray called the meeting to order at 4:30 PM; upon roll by Clerk -
Treasurer Lynda Dunbar the following were present Susan Murray, Trudy
Selvia, and Thom Morris arrived at 4:41 p.m.
II. Special Requests: None
III. Approval of Minutes
A. Regular Session — January 16, 2013
Motion was made by Trudy Selvia to approve Regular Sessions for January
16, 2013 minutes as presented, second by Susan Murray, 2 -0, motion
carried.
IV. Approval of Claims
A. Water - Motion by Susan Murray to remove the Indiana Rural Water
Association claim for $350.00 and to approve the remaining claims as
presented second by Trudy Selvia, 2 -0, motion carried.
B. Waste Water — Motion by Trudy Selvia to approve claims as presented,
second by Susan Murray, 2 -0 motion carried.
V. Department Reports:
A. Cemetery — Ernie Phillips
B. Engineer —
C. Fire Department — Bill Newgent
D. Park and Recreation — Rod Weinschenk
E. Planner — Shannon Norman
F. Police Department — Tom Sutherlin
G. Department of Public Works — Brad Phillips
H. Water &Wastewater Department — Richard Hedge
I. City Attorney - Laurie Robertson Hardwick
VI. Old Business
A. Water and Wastewater Rates- No formal action taken
VII. New Business
A. INDOT — Supplement Number 1 EDS No. A249 -12- 320651- Motion
was made by Trudy Selvia to direct the Mayor to sign the Supplement
Number 1 EDS No. A249 -12- 320651 Contract, second Thom Morris, 3 -0
motion carried.
B. INDOT — Supplement Number 1 EDS No. A249 -12- 320654- Motion
was made by Trudy Selvia to direct the Mayor to sign the Supplement
Number 1 EDS No. A249 -12- 320654 Contract, second Thom Morris, 3 -0
motion carried.
C. Amendment to Contract for Engineering Services- Motion was made
by Thom Morris to accept the amended contract as presented, second
Trudy Selvia, 3 -0, motion carried
An Executive Session for the Board of Works will be held on March 20, 2013 at 3:30
p.m. for review of applications to hire a new firefighter.
VIII. Adjournment
Motion by Trudy Selvia to dismiss at 4 :54 p.m., second by Thom Morris, 3 -0.
Motion carried.
