Regular Meeting May 3, 1955 Regular meeting was brought to order et 7:45 P.M. by Mayor Widmaier. Members oresent wnrere: •Burman, Clary, Coon, Schulz and'Wykert. Mason was absent. Minutes of regular meeting of Arril 5, 1955 were read and annroved as read. Receints and disbursements .of the Town, for the month of xrril 1955, were read by the Clerk. Weld Co. Health Dent. sent two safe water sample reports for the town of Ault, for April of 1955. Correspondence for the month of April 1955 was read by the Clerk. the new Ordinances drawn uo by the Town Attorney, were introduced and read. These Ordinances were concerning, narking, in the business section of the Town, of Ault, Dogs, Peddlers and Photographers. Schulz moved: Wykert seconded: That an Ordinance to be numbered # 123 of the Tbwn of Ault, rrescribinc the manner in which automobiles and other vehicles shall be narked, and shall stand at curbs and curblines and concerning the freight deliveries in the Town of Ault, Colo. and repealing Ordinance #11B and all Ordinances or carts of Ordinances in conflict herewith of the Town of Ault, be massed, adopted and ordered published. Also two c1n .3s this ordinance are to be sent to the State Highway Dent. along with the minutes of the Town of Ault for the months of August , September, and October of 1954 for there approval and signature. Motion Carried. Burman moved: Coon seconded: That an ordinance to be numbered # 126 of The Town of Ault, relating to the keeping and harboring of dogs, providing lice- nse fee's therefore: providing for licensing of Dog Kennels: providing for control of rabies and regulating dogs, within the Town of Ault and repealing Ordinance 47 of the Town of Ault, be massed, adooted and ordered published. otion Carried. Schulz moved: Clary seconded: That an Ordinance to be numbered #122 of the TOrn of Ault, licensing ohotogranhers, providing penalties for the violation thereof, and repealing all ordinanes in conflict herewith, be nassed, adooted and ordered published. Motion Carried. An Ordinance on reddlers and Solicitors was introduced and read, but there was some minor changes to be made, so was tabled until June meeting of 1955. There was a lot of discussion on the delinquent water users of the Town of Ault. The Clerk was to get some letter forms from the Secretary of Ault Sanitation Districtand if nossirle use the same means of collecting water in arrears as Sanitation 'istrict does for collecting on delinquent sewer services. There was some discussion on the salary to be paid to Dude Rice, for necial Police duty. It was deceided o give him X50.00 Per month and his hours would be from 5:00 P.M. on Saturday s tp 1:00 A.M. Sunday morning. Mr. Rice was also transfered from Day Marshall to Park man. His salary was to be $200.00 per month. John Gunson was put on, in Mr. Rice's Place as Day Marshall, at $200.00 Per month plus 015.00 car expense. There was some discussion on the new fence Carl Bradbury had built which was partly on Town property and partly on Russell Nelson property. The Clerk was to ask Mr. B'ra tt'y to please have it moved and straightened out soon as loss-- ible. (Continued) 407
