There was also a complaint on the burning and blowing around of trash from
Johnson Grocery Mkt. Incinerator. He was to be contacted by one of the trustee's
and asked to please do something to correct this soon as nossib le.
There was a complaint about Mrs. Florence Burman having an oven nit or well
without any cover over it; which was a danger to all concerned. She was to be
contacted by the Clerl and asked to Please have it fixed up safely soon as
possible.
Wykert moved: Clary seconded: To appoint Douglas Galloway as Town Treasurer
for the Town of Ault. Motion Carried.

Regular meeting was called, -,to order at 7:40 ?'.M. by Mayor Nidmaier. Mem-
bers present were; Clary, �'oon, Eason and Wykert. Burman and Schulz were
absent.
Minutes of regular meeting of May 3, 1955 were read and approved as read.
Receipts and Disbursements for the month of May 1955, were read by the
Clerk.
Weld County -Health Dept. sent two safe water sample reports for the month
of May 1955.
A letter from the State Highway Dept. rid other Corr spoirceece for the mom»
nth of May was read, and discussed. ,
The Ordinance concerning Peddlers, and the licensing thereof in the own
of Ault, was again introduced and discussed.
W rkert moved: Mason seconded: That an Ordinance to be Numbered # 121, pro-
viding for the licensing of peddlers, and or solicitors, defining the same,
providing for penalty for the violation therof, and repealing any and
all Ordinances in conflict therewith , be passed, adopted, and ordered nub-
lished. Motion Carried.
Trustee Clary read a letter received from the Dept. of Revenue, per-
taining to a claim for the refund of Motor fuel tax. According to the letter
received, gasoline had to be purchased in quanities of 20 gallons or more:,.
It was discussed and tabled.
There was much discussion on the rules and regulations set up for the Day
Marshall, by the Mayor and Police Committee. There was a lot of discussion
on the purchasing of a Police car to be used by the Day Marshall, for use
on traffic and other duties. The board felt by purchasing a Police car it
would help to maintain more interest and a better nolice Dept. .
Mrs. Florence Burman came into the Board meeting with a complaint on the
drainage system along the south side of 3rd St. It was left up to the St-
reet Department to nut this street on grade for nrooer drainage.
Mrs Janie Hensley aked the board if She could purchase a trailer court
license for six months, instead of a full year, because of the trouble
