Clerk Regular Meeting or' August 2, 1955 Regular meeting was called to order at 7:45 P.M. by Mayor Widmaier. Members pre sent were: Coon, Mason and Wykert. Burman, Clary and Schulz were absent. Minutes of regular meeting of July 5, 1955 were read and aunroved as read. Receipts and disbursements for the month of July 1955 were read by the Clerk. The town received two safe water sample reports for the month of Jule, from the meld County Helatti Dent. Correspondence for tee month was read by the Clerk. Wykert moved: Mason seconded: To grant l obert N. Lopes a cemetery deed, for lots 3&}L, Section 14, Block 2, and lots 9&10, Section 15, Block 2 in the Ault Cemetery. Motion Carried. Clifford nhite sent in an estimate on the replacing of a curb and gutter and sidewalk, along 2nd .venue win alley between 1st a:3 2nd Street adjoining 2nd Avenue, is repaired for drainage. It was discussed and tabled until next regular meeting. An estimate was also received from Mr. Cheney, on the cutting down, of two large cottonwood trees. It was discussed and also tabled until next regular meeting. An Annlication for night marshall was sent in by )ewey Lewis of Windsor, Colo. It was read and discussed, and also tabled until next regular meeting. The Mayor appointed Councilman Mason and himself, to act on the H'inance Comm- ittee, as regular Finance Committeemen Clary and Burman were absent. Clerk or Regular Meeting September 13, 1955 Regular meeting was called to order at 7:35 P.M. by Mayor Widmaier. Members present were: Burman, Clary, Coon, Mason, Schulz and Wykert. Minutes of the regular meeting of August 2, 1955 were read and approved as read. Receipts and Disbursements of the Town for the month. of August 1955, were read by the Clerk. Mr. Kenneth Caldwell, attorney, was present to represent Mrs. Nora Jones, con- cerning, the revolting of bmlicense by, Police^Myistrate, Edward L. Kopp Jr. on charges that she was found guilty, on violatin; Ordiance # 114, of the Town of Ault, forbidding the sale of 3.2% beep" on Sunday. The Ordinance was then read in full to the Town Board, and Mr. Caldwell. Sherman Woods the arresting officer was asked to testify on the hearing, and Police Magistrate Edward (Over) 411
