L. Kopp Jr. also was asked to state just what action had taken place during
police court.
Mason moved: Burman seconded: That Mrs. Dora Jones, 3.2% beer license be rev-
oked, and turned in at the Town Hall. Motion Carried.
A 3.2% beer application was sent in by Emory Scarborough of Greeley, to open
un and operate the East Pool Hall.
Schulz moved: Coon seconded: To grant Emory Scarborough a 3.2% beer license
for one year. Motion Carried.
The Estimate sent in by 'dlifford White, for replacing Curb and gutter along
2nd Avenue, was again brought un, discussed and tabled.
The Ordinance on the crossing of yellow lines, was again brought un, discussed
and read:in Cull.
Schulz moved: Wykert seconded: That an Ordinance to be numbered # 124, of the
Town. of Ault, concerning offenses: The driving of automobiles or ther vehicles
on roadways laned for traffic, prescribing a nanalty for violatiorhersof and
declaring an emergency, be -gassed, adopted, and ordered published. Motion Carried.
Officer Robert Beverlin, asked the Town Board for permission, to take two days
leave, during the 3rd week in September to attend F.B.I. Finger print school in
Boulder, Colorado. Permission granted. Beverlin, also asked if all Bicycles of
the Community be licensed, and have safety tape applied on each. The Ault Lions
Club is also working on the safety of all bicycle riders.
Robert Copes, Ault Fireman, was present to demonstrate, a new lighti in wich, the
Fire Dept. would like to have the Town Board purchase for them, and install on
the fire truck. It was left up to the Clerk to check further into this, with
the fire department.
There was some discussion on, no all night parking on 1st Street in Ault. It
was tabled until October meeting. T
Trustee Schulz asked how much the own was planning to spend for Christmas
decorations this year, along with the Ault Lions Club. It was deceided upon to
spend about 8200.00 each year until the town got some suitable decorations.
Bids were to be gotten, as soon as possible on the installing of a booster
pump, off: the grade school 2"water line, as the line pressure varies so much,
it is becoming a health problem.
Oiling or Asnlalt in front of the Grade School building was also discussed.
It was 'deceided to have Town Utility men, sprinkle this Street daily to keen dust
out of building.
Estimate's were to be gotten from Clifford bite, on the Crosswalks, down on the
corner of 2nd Avenue, and A Street, for the next regular meeting in October.
Rules and regulations were read by the Police Cewoittee on what they would expect
from the Police Department on new Polie Car. `
There was some discussion on the Night ar. shall' s use of the Police
deceided to give him a 30 day trial.
