HomeMy Public PortalAboutPAGE 413Co. Regular Meeting October , 1955 Regular meeting was called to order at 7;35 P.M. by Ma or Widmaier. Members present were: Burman, Clary, Coon and Wykert. Mason and „Schulz were absent. Minutes of the regular meeting of September 13, 1955 were read and approved as read. Receints and Dishursementc for the month of Sentember 1955 were read by the Clerk. A letter from the Weld Co. Health Dent. was read, on an inspection tour by the Health Dent. and what should be done to the town water system in the future. Also a letter from the Highway Safety Council in which a traffic safety coordinator for the cam -unity was to be appointed. A deed and abstract was to be drawn un by the Town Attorney on the sale of lots 7,8, & 9, Blk. 6, Graefe's 4th addition and given to Mr. Russell Nelson, to complete the veterans loan, so he could complete the building of his home. There was a lot of discussion on the oiling of the streets and replacing some storm drain tile.x. It was deceided to not replace drains until something definite could be set un for surfacing, surveying, etc. of the Streets and then replace drains according to grade. The Town Board granted the Firemen Permission to Cash in U.S. Saving's bonds and also to purchase more if deceided upon, and also to nut saving's fiend in first Industrial Bank were 3% interest could be drain on the money instead of the present 2% at the Farmers National Bank. This would also have to be O.K.'d by, and passed before the Firemen's Pension fund board. Permission was granted to have Blue Cross and Blue Shield mobile unit sat up in front of theater building on main §t. for one stay, to sell and explain present insurance polices to policy holders. Minutes of the regular meeting of October )., 1955 Imre read and approved as read. Receipts and disbursements for the month of October 1955 were read by the Clark. The ,Weld County Health Dent. sent up two safe water samnie reports, for the the town during the month of October. Three members of the Nunn Fire Protection District were present, to try to reach a mutual aid aggreement betweel. the Town of Ault, and the Nunn Fire District. Schulzmoved: Clary seconded To have the Town of Ault, guarantee, the Nunn Fire Protection District, A50.00 der fire run, when called out of the Nunn District, to render aid in the Ault District, and have the Nunn Fire Protection District, guar- antee, the Ault FireDeot. $50.00 per fire run, if called into the Nunn District, providing this would be aggreeable with the nunn fire district board. Schulz moved: Coon seconded: to raise the fee ner fire run, from the present $36.00 par fire run, to *50,00 ner fire run, outside the city limits of Ault. Motion Carried. Mr. Russ Thomte, Town auditor, was present, to explain and discuss, the 1956, proposed t et et Wykert moved: Mason seconded: To adont nronosed budget fer the year 1956, providing there were no protests by the next regular meeting in Dec.
