To adjorn subject to the call .f the Mayor. Motion Clerk May 1, 1956 Regular meeting was callect to order at 7;45 P.M. by Mayor Widmaier. Members present were: Armstrong, Burman, L'lary, Robinson, Snow and Wykert. April of the Regular meeting of April 3, 1956 and Adjourned meeting of 3, 1956 were read and approved as read. Receipts and Disbursements for the Town during the month of Clerk. Weld County Health Department sent in two safe water sample reports, for the Town during the month of April 1956. A letter from Municipal League, concerning refund. of Tax and Registration or Lic- ense fee, for all Municipally owned vehicles, was discussed. Mr.. Russ Themte, Town Auditor, came in to present the 1955 audit report of the Town records. Annlicatians from Town e'mployee's, for Employment by the Town were read by the Clerk and then discussed, individually. Rob insen moved: Snow seconded: To re -appoint Mrs. Smith as Librarian, for the Town of Ault, to serve at the will and pleasure of the Tiownaoard. Motion Carried. Wykert moved: Robinson seconded: To re -appoint Mr.'Edward L. Kopp Jr. as Police Magistrate, for the Town of Ault, to serve at the wi1J and pleasure of the Town Board. Motion Carried. Clary moved: Snow seconded: To re -appoint Blake Armstrong, as Utility man for the Town of Ault,. to serve at the will and pleasure of the Town Board. Motion Carried. Workert moved: Armstrong seconded: To re -appoint Paul Lear as Town Clerk for the Town of Ault, to serve at the will and pleasure of the Town Board. Motion Carried. Burman moved: Wykert seconded: To re -appoint Sherm Woods as Night Marshall for the of Ault, to seron nt, the will and pleasure of the Town Board. Motion Carried. R Robinson moved: Wykert seconded: to re -appoint .bt. Beverl r as DayMarshall, for the Town of Ault, to serve at the willand pleasure of the Town Board. Motion Carried. Snow moved: Armstrong seconded: To re -appoint Mr. Barnard Houtchens as Town Attor- ney, for the Town of Ault. Motion Carried. Wykert moved; Snow seconded: To hire, Mr. Geo. Fathergill, as Park and Cemetery man for the Town of Ault, commencing May 1st until Oct. lst,and to serve at a Salary of $200.00 per month. The Park man was to work under thcsupervision of Blake Armstrong. Motion Carried. There was much discussion on the presenttown employee's work. It was suggested to put Utility man in charge of Streets and Alleys and share tla Water Works, with the Town Clerk. The Street and Alley Committee and Water Works Committee was to have a meeting with the Town Clerk and Utility. man in the near future, and work out the duties of each employee. There was a lot of discussion on the duties of the.▪ Day Marsha• ll and wether or not to continue with a Day Marshall in the Town. It was deceided to have Police Committee work gut special duties and extra work for the Marshall during the day and at the same amount of pay. This Committee was to work this outwith the Marshall soon as poss- ible. There was a lot of discussion on the Cemetery and Park work. The Park and Cemetery was to work with the Park man with his duties and also they were to check into the cost and expense of each cemetery let ad labor, and see if thiprice of each lot 'ould be increased, so as to cover expenses. here was a lot of discussion on the trailers and trailer camps in the Town of Ault, it was tabled until a later date. It was discussed and deceided to raise water deposit fee, for the protection of the Town, from the present $5.00 to $20,00 in the Town of Ault, as of May 2, 1956. A Disclaimer Deed, from the Lion Oil Co. concerning the dumping yard of the Town of Ault, was read to the Town Board. Burman moved: Clary seconded: To release or disclaim any rights or interests, for Town. ship 8 North, Range 66 West of the 6th P.M. Section 22, N.E. i. Motion Carried. The Mayor proposed that the Ault Sanitation District, raise the Compensation for the Utility man to the Town of Ault, from the present $35.00 to $50,00 per :month. All agreed. There was much discussion abouth the Town Fire Deot, and the rules and regulations of the Department. The Mayor and Mayor Pro-Tem, and the Fire Committee, were to meet with the Fire Dept. at there regular meeting to be held in May, to discuss these regulations.
