HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolution 06-44171 1 1 RESOLUTION NO. 06 -4417 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY MEMORIALIZING THE PERSONNEL ACTIONS OF THE MAY 10, 2006, BUDGET SESSION. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Temple City met on Wednesday, May 10, 2006, to review the proposed Fiscal Year 2005 -2006 budget; and WHEREAS, after careful review of the proposed budget, the City Council took prudent actions to modify the city's budget and personnel table of organization; and WHEREAS, with the City Manager's recommendation, the City Council eliminated the "Volunteer Coordinator," "Administrative Secretary," and "Supervisor of Parks & Recreation," positions form the city's table of organization for budgetary reasons. WHEREAS, for organizational reasons, the City Council also approved the City Manager's recommendation to change the title of the "Assistant City Manager /Director of Parks and Recreation" position to "Director of Parks and Recreation," without any changes to that position's salary range or "at- will" status. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. These necessary budget and organizational changes are to be implemented in a timeframe and by a means deemed appropriate by the City Manager. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED on this 16th day of May, 2006.
