Motion Carried. Robinson moved: Clary seconded: To adjorn subject to the call of the Mayor. Motion Carried. r, Regular Meeting Clerk Mayor. June 6, 1956 Regular meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. by Mayor Widmaier. Members pre- sent were: Armstrong, Burman, Clary, Robinson. Snow and Wykert were absent. Minutes of the Regular meeting of May 1, 1956 were read and approved as read. Receipts and Disbursements of the Town for the month of May 1956, were read bythe Clerk. Mrs. Janie Hensley, Mrs. Robert McGuirk, and Alvin Hensley, were present to ask the help of the Town Board with the underground irrigating tile along Highway # 85 which wasflooding there property. The Mayor was to Contact Mr. Lawerence Bower, State Dept. Highway Engineer, ad ask his assistance or help. The Plice Magistrate asked if the Plumbing Ordinance of the Town. of Ault, vould be am- ended, so as to cover working on air conditioners, Tabled. The Plice Magistrate also asked if the Town Board could adopt an ordinance to protect all Town property, and equipment. The Town Attorney was to be contacted to have this Ordinance drawn up for the next regular meeting. The Mayor asked the Town Trustee's if they -wished to join the Colorado Muncipal League, for the year 1956. All agreed. The large pieces of cement at the Pump house, in the north end of Town were to be removed by Melvin Gelb, soon as he could be contacted to do the work. Two bids that were sent in by Henry Koch, and Carl Seeley to recoat and repair the roof of the City Hall and Library, wer discussed and the Clerk was to contact Mr. Koch to have him do this work, An Application sent in by James cussed. It was deceided to keep present Day Marshall and have him carry out his re- gular duties. It was also discussed to have extra help put on, during Sat. nights to help the Night Marshall. As Jim bobbins had sent in his application the Plice Committee were to contact him, and work out the hours of his duties. The Mexican dances being held on Saturday nights was brought up and discussed. It was deceided to notify Mr. and Mrs. Fathergill that no more mexican dances should be held at the I.0.0. F. Hall, because of the disturbance ad trouble to the local police department. The water deposit situation was again brought up and discussed. Burman moved: Clary seconded: To raise the water deposit fee from the present $5.00 to $10.00, of May 1, 1956. Motion Carried. The Finance Committee examined these bills; Ault Sanitation Dist.
