Clerk June 28, 1956 Mayor Special Meeting was called by Mayor M.C. Widmaier to consider a 3.2% beer Application for Ken's Pool Hall. All members were present. Clary moved: Burman seconded: To grant Mr. Kenneth Beahm a 3.2% beer license for the Town of Ault for one year. Motion Carried. Armstrong moved: Wykert seconded: To adjorn subject to the call of the Mayor. Motion Carried. e Regular Meeting Clerk July 3, 1956 Regular meeting was called to order at 7:20 P. M. by Mayor Widmaier. Members present were:,Armstrong,Burman, Clary, Snow and Wykert. Robinson was absent. Minutes of the regular meeting on June 6, 1956 and Special meeting of June 28, 1956 were read and approved as read. Receipts and Disbursements for the month of June 1956, were read by the Clerk. Weld County Health Dept. sent in two safe water sample reports for the month of June 1956. Robert Beverlin present Day Marshall of Ault, handed in his resignation as of 6:00 P.M. July 3, 1956. Mr. Edgar J. Voelk of Evans, Colo. was present to present his application as Day Marshall. Voelk's application was then read to the Town Board. There was much discussion on duties, uniform, etc. and Snow moved: Armstrong seconded: To hire Mr. Edgar Voelk as Day Marshall for the Town of Ault at a Salary of $2.0.00 per month. Motion Carried. There was some discussion on the Firemen's Pension Bends, Clary moved: Armstrong seconded: To have the Mayor cash in Firemen's Pension bonds. and re -invest them in Series "E" Government Bonds. Moti,gn Carried. There was some discussion on the own purchasing a Safety Deposit Box at Farmer's National Bank, to keep all bonds, insurance policies, and anything of value to the Town. Wykert moved: Armstrong seconded: To puechase Safety Deposit Box, at Farmer's National Bank. Motion Carried. Wykert moved: Snow seconded: To grant Mr. E.N. Smith a Cemetery Deed, for lot 12, Sec- tion 13, Bik. 1 at Ault Cemetery. Motion Carried. There was much discussion on a place for the Town of cult, to dump there trash. Wykert and Snow -were appointed to try to find some place to dump the trash, soon as poss- ible. There was some discussion on the Tile line along ffighway # 85. State Highway Dept. was to tear out as much of old tile line that was causing the water blockage, dig ditch, and do all hack filling if the ditch Co. would furnish the Tile. There was a lot of discussion on raising the wages, of the Utility man. Snow moved: no seconded: To grant Blake armstror Utility min $25.@0 more wages per month. Mo- tion withdrawn..Wykert moved: Burman seconded: o increase Blake Armstrong's a1- ary, $15.00 per month, making a total of $255.00 per month. Motion Carried.
