RESOLUTION APPROVING FIREWORKS FOR CARTERET'S 4TH OF
JULY FESTIVAL AT WATERFRONT PARK
\VHEREAS, The Borough of Carteret annually celebrates the Fourth of July; and
"1JIEREAS, The Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret believe that
having a fireworks display at the festival would be an enjoyable way to enhance
the event and an appropriate symbol of community pride; and
'VHEREAS, in order to obtain a pennit to display the fireworks it is necessary for
the Borough to adopt a resolution approving said display.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Borough Clerk
be and are hereby authorized to execute such documents as are necessary to obtain
any and all permits to facilitate "Carteret's 4th of July Festival" fireworks display.
Adopted this 14th day of June, 2007
and certified as a true copy of the
original on June 15th, 2007.
