PRESENT: Deb Sorenson, Dee Johnson, Dave Huntsman, Craig Rockwood
VISITORS: Ethan Smith (Boy Scout), Dave Benton, Todd Ritter, Jim
Wartchow.
Meeting was to discuss the extension of a 6" water main south of
the intersection of Owens Avenue and Main Street for a distance of
approximately 340 feet. A 6" PVC line is speced.
The Council approved the proposal in general with the following
concerns:
1. A 6" Muller shut off valve will be used just off the
conjunction of the 8" main line.
2. The cut in the roads must be properly completed and
repaired to its original state.
3. The water line must remain straight with no elbows to go
around given line.
4. City must inspect work before backfilled.
5. City must have at least 24 hours notice before they will
turn water off.
Motion to approve construction - Dave Huntsman; second - Dee
Johnson. All were in favor. Motion also gave approval of Mayor
and Clerk to sign replat of Lot 5 Block 2 of the Denning Addition.
