Call to order at:CM 6:05 2. Public Input • Lynda Dunbar(pool party). First Baptist Church renting AC-all"Community Night"event preference date is July 18(Tuesday)Parkfest will follow.Food provided by church. Motion TT,JM second.Passed 4-0 1. Approval of minutes of regular meeting—March 1,2023,Motion TT 2nd CM Passed 4-0 2. Approval of Monthly Claims and Invoices—March 2023 Motion TT 2nd JM Passed 4-o 3. New Business • Kona Ice proposal to sell at Aquatic Center this summer.Motion CM 2nd JM Passed 4-0 • Paul and Mary Bretscher.Incurring most of the costs for lessons.Supplies,salaries,training paid for.Estimated total:$10,546.00.Funded by way of Putnam County Community Foundation(Greencastle Aquatic Center Bretscher Learn to Swim Fund)GKR recognized it as a very kind gesture.Mayor Dory hoped DPU alumni to donate to the fund in the future. • Sheila Holloway(arrived at 7pm), representing Putnam County Recovery Coalition,hosting an event 11,2023 in Robe Ann Park.IndyCar driver Tony Kanaan is scheduled to appear and run the PCRC 5K.Event runs from 1pm to 5pm.Motion to accept TT Second DH passed 4-0 Previously it was tabled by the following motion and vote:Motion to table TT 2nd cm There had been a motion to"untable"by TT second.DH passed 4-0 • 2023-2027 Master Plan proposal from Hannum,Wagle,and Cline. Important process which will initiate later this month.Motion to accept the HWC proposal CM 2nd TT Passed 4-0 4. Special events/Old business • Fawn Helmer request updated to meet the requests of the Board Motion JM 2nd.rr Passed 4-o • ADA accessible fishing pier.GKR updated regarding a Rose-Hulman freshmen or senior design class to assist in the future design of the accessibility for a new fishing pier.Due to the time of year the project will begin during the 2023-2024 academic school year. • Park House bids Great deal discussion regarding the demolition.Some discrepancies appeared regarding what exactly each contractor was bidding on.So the director recommended tabling the issue to the May meeting. Prior to the meeting interested contractors will receive a document containing specifications which will be mandatory for each contractor. Motion to table:TT second DH.Passed 4-0 • Snow hill in BWSP.Director will be meeting with Jason Labella to discuss potential access points for the snow hill...in order to maintain safe and clear passages for those climbing the hill...and to avoid being struck by a frisbee from users of the frisbee golf course. • Park logo was shared and reviewed.A couple of small modifications were provided by board members and will be implemented.Otherwise,the logo is ready for public display. 5.
