CITY OF GREENCASTLE,INDIANA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FUNDING OF THE
GREENCASTLE/PUTNAM COUNTY DEVELOPMENT CENTER
FROM INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the Greencastle/Putnam County Development Center, Inc., continues to play
a key role in assisting, retaining, and attracting new business and industry to the community; and
WHEREAS, a matching grant of Forty-five Thousand Dollars ($45,000.00) from the
interest earned on the Industrial Development Fund is needed to fund the Greencastle/Putnam
County Development Center, Inc., for 2011; and
WHEREAS, Five-thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) of the total requested will be applied to
the required match for an $8,000 graduate intern grant from DePauw University; and
WHEREAS, the Citizens Advisory Commission for Industrial Development approves
and recommends to the City of Greencastle Common Council through its Resolution No. 2011-1
an expenditure of monies of Forty-five Thousand Dollars ($45,000.00) for the year 2011 from
the interest earned on the Industrial Development Fund.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE GREENCASTLE COMMON
COUNCIL approves the expenditure of$45,000.00 in industrial development fund monies.
