A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING SURPLUS PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE
WHEREAS, the Greencastle Community School Corporation and the Greencastle Middle School
Building Corporation own property which is commonly known and used as a portion Percy Julian Drive;
WHEREAS,Percy Julian Drive is in need of substantial reconstruction;
WHEREAS, the Greencastle Community School Corporation and the Middle School Building
Corporation wish to deed their interest in the property to the City of Greencastle for the purpose of a roadway
which will serve the school corporation.
NOW THERFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Greencastle Community School Corporation,
through its Board of Trustees, and the Middle School Building Corporation, through its Board of
Directors, pursuant to Indiana Code 36-1-11-8, do hereby agree to transfer to the City of
Greencastle, its ownership interest in the property which is described in the attached Quitclaim
Deed, which is incorporated herein and made a part hereof, and shall execute all documents
necessary to effectuate said transfer, and the City of Greencastle hereby agrees to accept said
transfer of property.
• PASSED AND RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle
at its regular meeting this 14 ` day of , 2011.
