A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS
TO THE ANNUAL BUDGET
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is necessary to appropriate additional funds for
the annual budget; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, pursuant to notice published May 23, 2011 in the Banner
Graphic, was held at the Regular Session of the Common Council of the City of Greencastle on
June 14, 2011 at 7:00 PM.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Greencastle, Putnam County, Indiana, that the following additional sums of money are hereby
appropriated out of the funds named and for the purposes specified, subject to the laws governing
the same:
Fund Name: 245 Rainy Day Fund
Major Budget Classification: 300 Other Services and Charges
(Equipment and Repairs) $ 50,000.00
Major Budget Classification: 100 Personnel Services
(Health Insurance Reimbursement) $ 60,000.00
TOTAL for Rainy Day Fund: $ 110,000.00
Fund Name: 401 Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund
Major Budget Classification: 300 Other Services and Charges
(Repairs and Maintenance) $ 50,000.00
Major Budget Classification: 400 Capital Expenses
(Equipment) $ 50,000.00
TOTAL for Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund: $ 100,000.00
PASSED AND RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle at its Regular
meeting on this 11 th day of May, 2010.
