Police.�ommittee gave report, on a 10% raise of wages of the Day & Night Marshall's wages..Robinson moved: Wykert seconded: To increase the wages of the Day Marshall from $240.00 per month, to $265.00 permonth, and. to increase the Night Marshall's wages from $200.00 per month to $220.00 per month, retroactive July 1, 1957. Mo- tion Carried. • There was some discussion on the removing and cleaning un. of the two burnt build- ing on main Street. The owners Mr. Herb Schulz and Edwin Clauson were to be con- tacted by letter, and asked to take care of this matter immeidiately. A notice was to be put into the Ault taper, asking all people owning vacant lots to please clean them un soon as possible. Armstrong moved: kobinson seconded: To raise Blake Armstrong's wages from 8255.00 per month to 8265.00 per month and also raise George Fathergill's wages from $200.00 per month to $210.00 ner month. Motion Carried. ->euAl. e) Clerk Regular Meeting September 3, 1957 Regular meeting was called to order at 7:45 P.M.•by Mayor Pro-Tem, Robinson. Members present were: Armstrong, Burman, Clary, Robinson, Snow and Wykert. Mayor Widmaier was absent. Minutes of the Regular Town Board meeting of August 5, 1957 were read and app -- roved as read. Receipts and Disbursements for the month of August 1957 were read by the Clerk. An. Ordinance to be numbered # 129 was introduced, read in full and approved. Clary moved: Burman seconded: To adopt Ordinance # 129, Entitled, an Ordinance to repeal Ordinance # 95 of the Town of Ault, adopted May 5, 1931, and remov- ing restrictions with respect to speed of trains, Locomotives, and motor cars within the Town of Ault, and to have it published. Motion Carried. Burman moved: Wykert seconded: To grant William S. Hargis a cemetery deed for lots 9 & 10, Section 5, B1k. 2, in the Ault Cemetery. Motion Carried. It was discussed and approved to increase the insurance coverage of Town Veh- icles, as required by law. Snow moved: Wykert seconded: To draw up an Ordinance forbidding U turns West of the Railroad tracks, on intersection, Highway 14, and Highway 85, Intersection 2nd Ave, and lst St. intersection 1st Ave, and lst, and intersection Graefe Ave. and lst St. This was tabled until the State Model Traffic ordinance's could be checked into with the Town Attorney.
