APPOINTING THE RIGHT REVEREND TARAS CHUBENKO
CHAPLAIN
\VHEREAS, the Police Committee has detemlined that the continued need exists
for a Chaplain in the Police Department; and
WHEREAS, the Right Reverend Taras Chubenko has distinguished himself
within the Borough of Carteret, having served on the Board of Education, the
Cafteret Housing Authority, as well as other municipal committees and has served
as Police Chaplain with distinction for over fifteen years; and.
'VHEREAS, "Father Taras" has given countless hours to the Borough Fire
Department while serving as Chaplain.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor aud Council of the
Borough of Catieret hereby officially designate:
THE RIGHT REVEREND TARAS CHUBENKO
Pastor of St. Demetrius Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral as Chaplain of the Carteret
Police Department.
