A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF tYNWOOD SELECTING
TO REJECT .ALL BIDS AND'"REPUBLISH THE 'RFP FOR PRINTING OF THE CITY'S
NEWSLETTER " ~ "
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood desires to obtain the services of a qualified and
cost effective printer; and
WHEREAS, #o comply with the City's .purchasing ordinance, a Request For
Proposals was issued to .numerous vendors; and ,
WHEREAS, City staff distributed RFP invitations to ten (10) printing vendors and
. received two bids from printing vendors; and
WHEREAS, City staff recommends that re-issuing the RFP would allow more
time for vendors to respond and would be more advantageous to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CLTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, ORDER, AND ,RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. That the City Council selected to reject all bids and republish the
RFP #or printing of the City's newsletter.
Section 2. That the City Council authorize the City Manager to execute a
.month-to-month. contract extension with ACE Commercial, Inc. for an amount not-to-
exceed $15,000 for the "remainder of the FY {January- June 2010).
' Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 5t" day of January, 2010.
