RESOLUTION NO. 2010.010
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING
OWNERSHIP~OF A FACILITY STRUCTURE FROM VERIZON WIRELESS,: -INC.
LOCATED AT' THE YVONNE BURKE~-"JOHN. D. HAM PARK~'AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the construction of the Yvonne Burke -John D. Ham Park required
Verizon Wireless, Inc. to relocate its cellular telephone facility located on this ,park to a
new location on Josephine Street; and
WHEREAS, Ver,.izon Wireless, Inc. has agreed to relinquish a facility structure to
the City of Lynwood, such structure is shown in Attachment "A",.attached herewith; and
WHEREAS, staff has determined that this structure cari be used as a storage
facility for the City's Park and Recreation Department's sport programs.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF~LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
. Section 1. That the Lynwood City Council accepts the relinquishment of the
facility structure from Verizon Wireless, Inc. as shown in Attachment "A".
Suction 2.' That the Mayor is authorized to execute the agreement with Verizon
Wireless, Inc. in the form acceptable to the City Attorney.
Section. 3. .That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 4. The City Clerk shalt certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 5t" day of January,-2010.
