RESOLUTION NO. 79- .3 �
WHEREAS the City of Medina had allocated $10,000 for project
number 55 in Year V of the Community Development Block
Grant Program, and
WHEREAS the Community Salary survey of the affected area indicated
an insufficent percentage of homeowners as qualifying under
the low and moderate income guidelines, and
WHEREAS the Hamel sewer system is in great need of repairs due to
infiltration as reported to the City by the engineer in
1974 and via letters from the Metropolitan Waste Control
Commission, and
WHEREAS discussions of the problem were held at various City Council
meetings including December 5 and 19 of 1978, and
WHEREAS the Planning Area 4 Citizens Advisory Committee advised that
Medina give attention to this problem, now
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that $10,000 from project 55 be reallocated
to Hamel Sewer Repair for Year V of the Community Development
Block Grant Program.
