A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE
DONATION OF THE CONFISCATED EVIDENCE
DUE TO BE DESTROYED TO THE CENTRAL
AMERICAN DISASTER RELIEF EFFORT ~ '

y ~ ~ WHEREAS, The City of Lynwood acknowledges the disaster caused by .
~..' ~ ~ hurricanes in Central America and
- 1NHEREAS, a disaster relief fund has been set to receive donations to

' ~ WHEREAS, The City of Lynwood has confiscated evidence that is due to
be destroy;.arid
WHEREAS,-that evidence consists primarily of quilts, pillows, and clothing..
. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Lynwood that:
°. - Section 1. The Cifiy Council. of the City of Lynwood hereby authorizes.
-the donation of the confiscated evidence that is due to be destroyed to the
Central American Disaster Relief Effort.
- Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
