A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROPRIATING BUDGET FOR THE PROJECT AND
AWARDING A CONTRACT TO LOFY ENGINEERING, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $39,825.00, FOR REMOVAL OF UNDERGROUND
STORAGE TANKS AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
.WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed and approved staff's report on
underground storage tanks.project at its special meeting on September 29, 1998;,and
WHEREAS, the Staff has advertised and sought proposals from outside
Engineers/Contractors; and
WHEREAS, nine (9) proposals were received in the Engineering Division; and
WHEREAS, the staff have reviewed all proposals and recommend Lofy
Engineering be selected for a fee of $39,825.00; and
WHEREAS, a budget of $50,000.00 is needed to fund the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That to fund the project, $50,000.00 be appropriated.
Section 2. That the contract for the removal of underground storage tanks, be
awarded to Lofy Engineering, for a fee of $39,825.00.
Section 3. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the agreement between
the City of Lynwood.and Lofy Engineering,.
Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
