HomeMy Public PortalAboutPAGE 436436 Regular Meeting April 7, 1958 Regular meeting was called to order at 7:0 P.M. by Mayor Widmaier. Members present were: Armstrong, Burman, Clary, Robinson, Snow and ykert. Receipts and Disbursements for the month of March 1958 were read by the Clerk. Mrs. Martha McCrumb, was present, to give Oath of Office, to the Mayor, M.C. Widmaier, and trustee's Armstrong, Burman, Clary, Robinson, Snow and Wykert. There was some discussion on the cleaning up of the Schulz, and Clauson lots. Robinson moved: Clary seconded: To except the 5 year aggreement, between the U.P.R.R. and the Town bf Ault, covering use of right of way for park purposes. Motion Carried. There was some discussion on fly and insect control, for the Town of Ault. Diff- erent methods of insect control were to be checked into and brought up at a later meeting. Motion Clerk 7T? Mayor. Regular Meeting May 5, 1958 Regular meeting was called to order at 7:10 P.M. by Mayor Widmaier. Members present were: Armstrong, Burman, Clary, Robinson, Snow and Wykert. Two safe water sample reports were sent in by the Weld County Health Dept. for the month of April 1958. Minutes of the Regular meeting of April 7, 1958 and Special meeting of March 31, 1958 were read and approved as read. Receipts for the monthof April 1958, were read by the Clerk. Wykert moved: Snow seconded: To grant Prange and Mason, Building Contractors, a building permit to build a Storage Elevator, 206' long and 52' wide, along the east side of the U.P.R.R. Co. Tracks, between 1st Street and 2nd Street. Upon roll call 5 voted yes, and 1 voted no. (Burman no) There was some discussion on the two burned out lots belonging to Schulz and Cl- auson. Clary moved: Burman seconded: To give Herb Schulz and Ed Clauson a 30 day extention period, that is from the 1st day of May 1958, in which to clean up there lots, located on main Street. There was some discussion on what the Congregation Church should be charge per Sunday for the use of the Library Basement each Sunday morning, to hold Sunday School classes. Mr. John Bannon and Dr. C.R. Patterson were present to discuss this charge with the Town. Board. It .was referred to the Library Board to deceide this matter. There was some discussion on the replacing of the Town's water mains. A measurement was to be gotten for June meeting on how much water main was needing replacing and the number of service lines along these two mains. An Application was read from Wm. Fathergill, applying for the Position as Day Marshall, for the Town of Ault. It was left un to the Police Committee, to draw up rules and regulations, and the Salary to be paid.
