Regular Meeting October 6, 1958
Armstrong moved: Snow seconded: To grant Moses Braick a building permit to build
a concrete block building within the fire limits of the Town of Ault. Motion Carried.
Mr. Tom Kennedy, County Assessor, wrote that the Town assessed valuation for the
year 1959•was 823,500.00 and that the Tax levy should not exceed 16.80 mills,
giving a tax amounting to $13,83..80. An annual Budget•was to be drawn urn, adopted
and published, and from the budget a tax levy for the year 1959 would be set up
for the Town of Ault. •
Mrs. George Fathergill, Police Magistrate, attended the Town Board meeting to dis-
cuss Police Court problems, and to ask suggestions of the Town Board. .
Atreet and Alley Committee was to check on a Street light to be placed•in the Alley
Behind the Plumbing shop, and renor.t at the November Town Board meeting.
There was• much discussion on the rat situation of the Town. The Weld County Health
Dept. was to out an article into the local paper asking the people for cooperation
in cleaning un of garb=age, refuse and debris in alleys and back yards. The Town
Board would also ask cooperation of the Town's people and furnish rat posion to
those who needed it.
There was some discussion on the burned out lots on main street.

Regular Meeting
November 3,•1958
Mayor
Regular meeting was called to order at 7:145 P.M. by Mayor Widmaier. Members present
were: Armstrong, Burman, Clary, Robinson, Snow and Wykert.
Minutes of the Regular meeting of October 6, 1958 were•read and approved as read.
Receipts and Disbursements for the month of October 1958 were read by the Clerk.
Weld County Health Dept. sent in two safe water sample reports for the month of Oct.
1958.
Applications for 1959 Liquor License were sent in by August Sothman, Frank D. Moody
and George Simpson. Wykert moved: Armstrong seconded: To grant Frank D. Moody, Geo.
Simpson, an.d August Sothman, each, a liquor license for the year, 1959.•Motion Carried.
Mr. C.O. Crony, from Northern Colorado tree service, asked for permission, to haul
tree limbs up to the Ault dump. The tree limbs would Dome from tree's within the town
limits, of the Town of Ault. Permission granted.
There was some discussion on the 1959 Budget, of the Town of Ault. Because of the
Budget not being sent in on time, it was to be revised to correspond with the 1958
Budget, and the Mill Levy was to be set the same as the 1958 Mill Levy of 16.6.
There was some discussion on the Dog Ordinance of the Town. M4ny 'problems had come
un, but all were to be handled according to Ordinance # 120, concerning Dogs of the
Town of Ault.
