There was discussion on what was to be done concerning the cleaning up of the
burned out lots belonging to G. E. Harring. It was pointed out that his agreement
to begin construction as soon as weather was suitable had not been kept. Moved by
Clary: Seconded byWykert: jlotion to serve notice that work must be started by June 1
or the provisions of Ordinance 14 would be invoked. Roll call. Motion carried.
Mayor to draw up written notice.
Problem of the fast traffic on First Ave. was brought hp by Armstrong. It
was decided that the marshal should contact some of the most frequent offenders.
The possibility of making one or more stops on the avenue is to be investigated
by the Police committee and reported at the next meeting.
Finance committee examined these bills: Bill from Earl T. Rankin for two
nights pay was not allowed. Bill from Robert R. Anderson 6 Co. for 1958 audit
discounted $15.00 because of inconvenience caused by error in original copy.
Moved by Wykert: Seconded by Robinson to allow all other bills and draw warrants
for the amounts. Roll call. Motion carried.

Regular meeting of the Trustees of the Town of Ault was called to order by
Mayor M. C. Widmaier at 7:45 P. M. Members present: Armstrong, Burman, Clary,
Robinson, Snow and Wykert.
Minutes of the regular meeting of May 4, 1959 were read and approved as read.
Receipts for the month of May were read by the clerk.
Weld County Health Department sent in two safe water samples for the month
of May.

Moved by Armstrong: Seconded by Clam: Motion to grant deed for cemetery
lot No. 3, Block 1, Section 4, Ault Cemetery to Shphia Dorrance.
Committee report by .. L. Burman concerning complaints against barber pole
and downspout on L. R. White property: Both items found to be properly constructed
and within White's property lines. Clary concurred.
Committee report by Leslie Clary concerning proposals for controlling speed
on First Ave. Decision that a 4 -way stop at the Congregational Church corner might
be advisable and speed limit signs at North end of the Avenue and at Main Street.
Robinson moved: Burman Seconded: Motion to take action but to leave it to the
Police committee to decide just where the signs sould be placed. Roll call. Carried.
Waid Johnson was present to recommend the adoption of a building code for the
town. Code recommended was the Uniform code.
Mayor M. C. Widmaier reported that there had been no response from G. E. Harring
concerning the notice of last month to take action in cleaning up the lots on Main
street. If there is no action before next meeting he is to be present at the
July meeting.
Blake Armstrong presented the demand of Waid Johnson to bring the water line
to the back of the Carleton lots on First Ave. for Mr. Gregory. Water committee
agreed that the line would be extended.
Moved by Armstrong: seconded by Wykert to purchase a new lawn mower for
$78.88. Roll call. Carried.
It was brought to the attention of the board that the plats of the cemetery
show some lots spoken for and reserved tho not paid for. In the future all lots
must be paid for when promised.
Moved by Clary, Seconded by Armstrong to shut off water on delinquent accounts.
Roll call. Carried.
Moved by Burman: Seconded by Robinson motion to raise pay of Sherman Woods
$50.00 per month with the understanding that he is subject to call Saturday after-
noons and Sunday, effective June 1, 1959.
