CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND
ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF THE PROPOSED ASSESSMENT RULE
WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the repair, recon-
struction and surfacing of streets, namely, Tower Drive east of
Pinto Drive; Pinto Drive between T.H. #55 and Hamel Road; and
Hamel Road between Hickory Drive and a point 600 feet east of
Tower Drive; and for the construction of a street and watermain
in that portion of Tower Drive lying westerly of Pinto Drive;
and
WHEREAS, the contract price for the said improvements is
$99,516.00, and the fees, costs and expenses incurred or to be
incurred in connection therewith in the making of such improve-
ment amount to $20,484.00, so that the total cost of the improve-
ments will be $120,000.00;
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Medina, Minnesota:
1. That the cost of such improvements to be specially
assessed is hereby declared to be $120,000.00.
2. That the City Clerk, with the assistance of the City
Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the amount to be specially
assessed for such improvements against every assessable lot or
parcel of land within the assessment district effected without
regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and the Clerk shall
file a copy of such proposed assessment in the Clerk's office for
public inspection.
3. The Clerk is hereby directed to notify the Council of
the time of completion and the filing of the proposed assessment.
