RESOLUTION NO. 06 -4445
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY ESTABLISHING A SCHEDULE OF PENALTIES FOR VEHICLE
PARKING VIOLATIONS
WHEREAS, Section 40203.5 of the California Vehicle Code requires that cities establish a schedule
of penalties for vehicle parking violations; and
WHEREAS, Temple City Ordinance No. 94 -766 authorizes the establishment of penalties for parking
violations by City Council resolution; and
WHEREAS, California state law authorizes the City to include penalties imposed by the County of
Los Angeles for custody facility and courthouse construction, in accordance with Government Code Sections
76000 - 76101; and
WHEREAS, Temple City Resolution No. 00 -3830 for the schedule of penalties for vehicle parking
violations was adopted includes the additional penalties mandated by the County of Los Angeles pursuant to
California state law.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple City does hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City of Temple City establishes the penalties for vehicle parking violations, late
payment penalties, and other related charges as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached.
SECTION 2. The vehicle parking penalties and related fines set forth in Exhibit "A" shall become
effective October 19, 2006.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED on this 19th day of September 2006.

September 2006, by the following vote:
