RESOLUTION NO. % /
RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT
WHEREAS, by resolution passed by the City Council of the
City of Medina on August 21, 1979, the City Clerk was directed to
prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of the repair, recon-
struction and surfacing of streets, namely, Tower Drive, east of
Pinto Drive; Pinto Drive between T.H. No. 55 and Hamel Road; and
Hamel Road between Hickory Drive and a point 600 feet East of
Tower Drive; and for the construction of a street and watermain in
that portion of Tower Drive lying Westerly of Pinto Drive; and
WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the City Council that such
proposed assessment roll has been completed and filed in the Clerk's
office for public inspection;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MEDINA, MINNESOTA:
1. A public hearing shall be held on the day of Octo-
ber, 1979, at 5:00 p.m. in the Medina City Hall located at 2052
County Road 24 in the City of Medina , to pass upon such proposed
assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property
affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be
heard with reference to such assessment.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of
the public hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once
in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the scheduled
public hearing, and to state in such notice the total cost of the
improvement.
3. The City Clerk is also directed to cause a notice of the
public hearing to be mailed to the owner of each parcel described
in the assessment roll not less than two weeks prior to the public
hearing.

seconded by Member and, upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof:

whereupon said resolution was declared, duly passed and adopted.
