AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6 -95 OF THE GREENCASTLE
CITY CODE REGARDING TRASH AND REFUSE PICK -UP AND DISPOSAL
FEES
WHEREAS, the current monthly fee charged for trash and refuse pick -up and disposal
services is $9.00 per household, per month.
WHEREAS, an increase in said fees is necessary to cover the increasing costs of these
services and related administration costs.
NOW THEREFORE be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle that
hereby amends Section 6 -95 of the Greencastle City Code to read as follows:
The City of Greencastle shall levy a charge of ten dollars ($10.00) per month for trash and
refuse pick -up and disposal services, and curbside recycling services rendered by the City.
This Ordinance shall have full force and effect upon passage of the Greencastle Common
