October 12, 1959
Special meeting of the Trustees of the Town of Ault was held October 12 at
7:30 D. m for the purpose of adopting a budget for 1960.
Burman, Robinson, Snow, T rykert. Clary :Absent.
Budget presented anticipated revenues and expenditures of $33,396.36. Based on
the assessed valuation of g8M5,130 mill levy of 15.63 can be levied. Moved by Snow;
IIISeconded by Armstrong to adopt the budget as presented. Roll call. Carried.
The following resolution was unanimously adopted: Be it resolved and ordered
by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Ault that upon valuations of assessable
property in Ault, as certified by the County Assessor for the current year, there be
and is hereby levied for General purposes 15.63 mills.
Moved by Wykert; Seconded by Armstrong motion to grant request of William V. Nix
to connect to the Town sewer service line.

November 2, 1959
Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Ault was called to order
by Mayro M. C. Tidmaier at 7:40 P. M. Members present were Armstrong, Burman, Clary,
Robinson and Wykert. Snow absent.
Minutes of the regular meeting of October 5 and of the Special meeting of Oct. 12
were read and approved as read.
Financial report of the month of October was presented.
Weld. County Health Department sent in 2 safe water samples for the month of October.
Moved by Robin: -on, Seconded by Wykert to grant deed for cemetery Lots No. 4.,
Section 16, Block 2, Ault Cemetery to Manuel Juan Romero. Roll call. Carried.
Moved by Clary, Seconded by Wykert motion to approve applications for renewal of
liquor licenses to Frank D. Moody, August Sothman and George E. Simpson. Roll call. Carried.
Correspondence: Letter from. Ritter General Agency for Western Casualty and
Surety Co. stating that coverage for new Fire District is hereby bound pending proper
endorsement of the policy.
Concerning the arrears on water bills clerk instructed to send notice that water
will be shut off and can be turned on again only during office hours.
Widmaier reported that Houtchens is attor aey for Herbert Schulz therefore can not
give advise concerning action against Harring. Matter referred to judiciary committee
Widmaier further reported concerning annexation that Houtchens advised that
Petition has to be filed first.
Phone bill formerly charged to fire fund of the Town of Ault should be sent to
Fire District. Gilbert Armstrong reported for the Fire District that they would like
to have a decision about buying the town equipment. It was decided that the attorney
should be consulted about the legality of disposing of it and putting a valuation on it.
Request of Mr. Waldron of Macy' s Mortuary to place a V. F. 1% plaque in the Ault
Cemetery was granted.
Blake Armstrong instructed to hire help on street and alley work as needed.
