A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROVING THE INSTALLATION OF STOP
CONTROL AT CERTAIN INTERSECTIONS IN THE CITY
WHEREAS, staff received residents' request for the installation of stop control
,F--,, on San Jose Avenue and Osgood Avenue at Norton Avenue, and on Carson Drive at Le
. Sage Street; and
WHEREAS, staff conducted the necessary stop sign studies and found
that the requested stop signs are warranted; and
WHEREAS, the Traffic, Safety and Parking Commission reviewed said
requests and concurred- with staff's recommendation to install stop signs:
THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council approves the installation of
° A stop sign on San Jose Avenue at Norton Avenue
° A stop sign on Osgood Avenue at Norton Avenue
° A two-way stop on Carson Drive at Le Sage Street
Section 2. That .this resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its
adoption.
